Cycle training for schools


GET SET FOR BIKEABILITY - The Get Set programme is aimed at YR4 and prepares the children to 'Get Set' for the Bikeability course they can participate in YR5.

BIKEABILITY: This is a 2 day course for 12 children from YR5+, Level 1 & 2 and Level 3 from YR7+
All receive a Certificate, Badge and Book on completion of each Level.

SCHOOL BIKE CLUB - Available to schools following completion of Bikeability training and is aimed at keeping the children cycling and continuing to learn about safe cycling.
All members receive a membership card which gives them discounted parts and repairs for their bike.
Involves a monthly bike ride meeting for 2hrs and ends in an end of year cycling day trip to a place of interest.

Teachers and parents - We can provide Bikeability cycle training for teachers and parents in small groups at times to suit.

Cycle training for adults and families


We deliver Bikeability levels 1,2,3, the government approved national standard for cycling, which sets out the training and skills essential for making cycling journeys on today’s roads.
Available age 9+
All participants receive a certificate and badge on completion of each level.

Social cycling club



A regular meet up for non-riders and leisure cyclists at
Jim Peters Stadium, Mayesbrook Park RM8 2JR most Wednesdays 4pm-6pm - all sessions are to be booked in advance.

• Rider Development: New cyclists
• Rider Development: Advanced and Leisure cyclists
Just bring your own bike and helmet to join in or loan a bike from us subject to availability.

Scout & Cub badge courses


These are bespoke courses designed to include all the elements of the Scout and Cub Cycling Badge Award. They are varied, interesting and quite intense and provide a high quality of training in road cycling, bicycle repair and safety.

Cycle training


Level 1: Is delivered in a traffic free environment, usually a playground or car-park, 
and is a pre-requisite to road training.

Level 2: Is delivered on quiet roads but with real traffic conditions.

Level 3: Is delivered on busy roads with advanced road features. Children are not taught this until secondary school.

Certificate and badge included in the price.

Loan bikes and helmets available.

Commuter course


A course specifically designed to teach good road practise to the National Bikeability Standards and guide you "accompanied" to your work destination and back home again. A route will be planned for you by our British Cycling Route Planner to and from work using safer quieter roads. On completion of the course you will receive a certificate of competence.

Corporate


Bespoke cycle training to suit employers and employees to enable staff to cycle safely in any traffic environment and at the same time taking in the health benefits that cycling promotes. Training is to the national standard level 2 and level 3 Bikeability, each participant will receive a certificate and badge on completion of the course.
This course is open to all businesses any area any size can be provided for.
